I have a Samsung Galaxy i5700 android phone which came up with a 4GB Micro SD card. I have so many photos and music files on the card. However, the card is now re-formatted in my Samsung leaving me incapable of recovering any of those precious files. Now can I retrieve the files formatted from my Samsung?
Well, speaking from technical view a format option (quick format or complete) also won’t erase the data on your SD card until new data occupy the space where those formatted data originally taken. That means you still have possibility to recover files from SD card. You can either rely on third-party photo recovery tools to get thing done and rescue your files easily by following the right steps.
- Step 1 – Please download Stellar Photo Recovery program and install it on your PC or Mac computer. Launch the software.
- Step 2 – Connect Samsung SD card to the computer via a USB cable or card reader.
- Step 3 – On the software, click Start to continue a scanning for the SD card to seek for the formatted files.
- Step 4 – When the process is complete, select the found files to preview or restore them to any other hard disk.
Note: in order to increase chances of recovery, you should immediately stop putting more data to the Samsung SD card, which means taking more photos or saving more files to it is not wise. Hope you good luck.
